How Do Racial Disparities Affect Your Low Back Pain?

Before I became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I used to wonder how it was that tiny, petite people could possibly experience low back pain.

After all, it’s been drilled into us for years that being overweight contributes to low back pain; and medical doctors always seemed to think that weight loss was the key to reducing low back pain.

Does Size Matter?

This being the case, I could never understand how smaller or slim people could claim to have low back pain unless they were injured.

But size is not a factor as to whether or not you will have low back pain. Size is only a factor in regards to exacerbating the pain problem or worsening it.

Patterns of Low Back Pain

Because I am an LMT, and because I have always communicated with and carefully observed my clients; I began to notice certain things about bodies. I began to see patterns of pain, and understand how they can be established in a body.

These pain patterns are based on imbalances as well as other factors, and these imbalances cause certain distinctions or structural differences in bodies. I’ve even noticed that there is the predominance of one pattern over another between the races.

Distinct Structural Differences

I used the word “discriminate” to describe the distinction I’m going to talk about today because I am referring to a difference in structure, thus a distinct difference in low back pain.

As I explain these distinctions, I want you to understand that these are the predominant structural patterns. There are always going to be exceptions to the rule, so it’s possible that these particular patterns may not fit you.

Standard Racial Differences

The majority of Caucasian people I work on, particularly if they were or are athletic, tend to have varying degrees of backward or posterior rotated hips. This causes a very boney structure, especially in the hips and low back.

People with this pattern tend to have kyphotic or forward rolled shoulders. Their feet roll outward (supinate) when they walk. Their shoes will wear more on the outside. This causes them to have low back pain that is centrally located.

The majority of African Americans, on the other hand, tend to be the opposite. They tend to have ankles that roll inward (pronate), due to a weak arch. This causes the development of low back pain and knee pain on the inner knees due to duck feet or knocked knees.

Their hips roll forward, and a Lordosis (excessive curvature) of the low back is the result. This causes the butt to be pushed outward and upward, giving a pronounced or protruding “bootae.”

While this look seems to have become extremely popular due to rapper videos with strippers; forward or anterior pelvic tilt causes low back pain to spread across the entire width of the low back.

Additionally, women with this type of structure suffer more low back pain during and after pregnancy.

The Hazards of Attachments

Women (and men) who get exaggerated “enhancements” in the gluts, will amplify this problem and make their own low back pain worse. Even if they aren’t experiencing a pain problem already at the time, which would be odd; they will definitely have a problem later.

Women who surgically alter themselves, or use Botox to achieve this look will suffer greatly, not only because of the structural strain but scar tissue as well.

Whether it’s butt implants or breast implants, botox, wrinkle removal of the creases around the eyes and mouth; plastic surgery results in pain. Again, you may not feel the effects immediately.

Since people predominantly do this for ego edification, they might dismiss the probability. However, eventually, there will be a pain based result. Any time you are cut, not only muscle is affected, but fascia as well.

Likewise, scar tissue will affect both and if you factor in just aging alone, there will be a lot of pain. I have noticed a high trend in these types of alterations among Latin females, most of which are already highly prone to a pain type pattern prior to any surgical alterations.

Alternate Racial Differences

In Latin people, I noticed these pattern differences are at a paradox between the sexes. The males will tend to have a posterior pelvic tilt, and the females will have an anterior pelvic tilt.

Of the few Asian people I’ve worked on, they seem to be a puzzle of opposites and a combination of these two structural patterns. It is something I want to study more.

Does Size Matter?

Low back pain is not based upon one’s size. However, larger people will tend to have more pain-related problems overall. It’s not just a low back pain problem.

Larger people have more flesh. They tend to be more sedentary, and as a result of little to no movement; their muscles will harden due to lack of use. It’s just like a vehicle that is not taken care of. Eventually, the wax will fade and as the vehicle ages, signs of rust will become evident.

In a car, if the vehicle is not properly maintained with proper lubricants, the gears will freeze up and lock, and stop the engine from functioning. It is the same with the body. There must be fluidity.

In a larger person, fluidity is slowed down due to a sedentary lifestyle. The same applies to smaller or older people who do not move as well. The hardening affects anyone who does not move much.

However, in a larger person, the heart is pumping harder to move the blood because every extra pound adds about 7 new miles of blood vessels that the heart has to pump the blood through.

If the person is sedentary and the muscles and fascia are hardening, this effectively damns up the river of blood flowing in and around the muscle tissues. This same thing applies to large muscular people because enlarging the muscle does not make it healthy.

It still has to be fluid, and if that muscle tissue is hard, (and it usually is) it is the same as an overweight, sedentary person with excess flesh. The heart is still having to work overtime to pump the blood through all the excess miles of tissues that have been enlarged and hardened.

Does Pain Discriminate?

Pain does discriminate. Where low back pain hits your body can be based on several factors and variables, and amazingly, race or nationality seems to be one of them. Where do you fit into these patterns?

We started this topic in the previous article on the predominant cause of pain and suffering. In the first part of that article, I stated that there were 7 factors of this predominant cause, and we have been steadily progressing through them. I’m hoping that at this point, you have started to glean just a hint of what the #1 cause of pain and suffering is, but if you have not, read on.

The 5th Factor

We are blessed with bodies that are an amazing feat of biological engineering. The things we are capable of doing, have not even been fully realized; and we exist within an earthen vessel. Yet, these vessels have some magical abilities that were implanted by our Creator. When I say implanted, I literally mean that. We are walking vegetation.

Mar 8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Do You Understand Your Function?

There’s much more I could say on that thought alone, but I just want you to get even a slight understanding of the miracle that is our bodies. The cause of pain for many lies in the fact that they take their bodies for granted, and don’t seem to understand that it is an amazingly functional, self-sufficient machine.

This is why we suffer because we don’t know or understand what is right at our fingertips. It’s like trying to drive a car, when you’ve never seen one before, and have no manual. That is how most people operate, despite the fact that we have the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth available to us all.

When we talk about being functional, we are talking about the ability to do something, whether it be voluntary or involuntary. It’s the ability for movement of some type to happen. Let’s start with the one we’d like to think we’re in control of.

Voluntary Movement

As we all age, we start to find that we cannot do the things we used to do. Our pain and suffering often result from restrictions that, in essence, we put on ourselves. Our muscles are not moving the same way.

Age-related restrictions happen because we are not taught how to care for our bodies. We were never trained as children, on how to care for the functional belts of this body, our muscles.

Thus, as we age, we find our skeletal frame being reshaped; pulling against our natural proclivity to stand and walk erect. Everything starts shrinking and we lose our stature, flexibility, and major parts of what we consider to be our functionality and usefulness.

Unnatural Musculature Problems

We don’t think we can halt this seemingly natural downward spiral, which is anything but natural. It is quite unnatural and is an effect of muscular dysfunction due to both lack of care and lack of knowledge as well as a modern, technological lifestyle.

So what about the muscle-heads, right? What about all those gym jocks that are constantly slaving to look buff? The ones who have been sold the bill of goods about hard muscle being the definition of fit and sexy? What about them? They undergo much of the same debilitation as everyone else, but in different degrees.

Understand, I’m not talking about athletes like runners or swimmers; although their muscles get pretty beat up too. I’m talking about the weight building warriors who believe that getting ripped is the thing to do. Some of them keep themselves feeling good because they go to see a massage therapist regularly.

Some see a chiropractor for mostly unnecessary spinal adjustments; which would not be necessary if proper care was paid to their own muscles. Unfortunately, most people don’t do enough to care for and maintain the vehicle of their movement – their muscles.

Involuntary Movement

We as people don’t properly guard our muscles against the possibilities of pain and suffering; against being overworked and abused due to our conscious movement choices. It is usually this lack of proper attention that causes musculoskeletal pain problems to develop.

However, there is another factor. It is all the movements that are involuntary. You aren’t even conscious of these reactions. They are happening at the cellular level.

How are they activated? By your thoughts. Without your conscious knowledge, your muscles are reacting, and contracting numerous times during the day based on silent messages coming from your nervous system.

These silent messages are being transmitted from your subconscious mind, not your conscious mind. However, you are capable of controlling all of this, but most people have the islander attitude of, “I can’t be bothered.”

The 6th Factor

One of the most frequent inhibitors to healing from pain and suffering is inflammation. The purpose of the inflammatory response is to basically act as a buffer of protection for areas that are damaged in some way. The problem is that in our modern lifestyles of personal neglect; we have laid a course throughout our bodies; of hidden minefields of inflammatory response.

Our inflammation based diets filled with meats and dairy products contribute greatly to this problem. I mention dairy and meat specifically because of the byproduct produced by them in the body. Mucus is part of the whole inflammatory cloaking operation.

Why Can’t I Get Rid Of Mucus?

We can’t eliminate it totally, as it is an integral part of the cloaking and protective responsive actions. It cloaks and completely overwhelms and smothers germs, bacterias, and viruses that try to attack the body. This is not something you want to get rid of.

However, I understand the feeling. For those who have suffered all their lives from Hayfever, Sinusitis, Bronchial issues, and any respiratory dysfunction or issue; the last thing you want to be dealing with is a postnasal drip, and stuffy, closed or pressurized nasal passages.

Despite the fact that we can’t get rid of mucus even if we want to, we can greatly reduce the amount of it, so that we don’t experience excessive overproduction of it as part of the inflammatory response, because too much of anything is not good for you.

The 7th Factor

Finally, the last factor of pain and suffering is fungus. Most people are like trees that have spots of fungus growing on or in their bodies. The issue of fungal overgrowth has taken the forefront, because of the overproduction of processed foods; and the excessive use of sugar in the American diet.

Many people have fungus but are unaware of it, because they aren’t being given any solid information on the conditions they have or are simply kept in the dark with symptom management. But as I mentioned earlier, we are like vegetation that fungal problems.

Pain in the Terrain

Most gardeners remove plants that are infected, or in the case of trees, cut them back. However, people cannot be treated like that. Our humanity should discourage this. So the only other option is education so that we are armed with information that helps us to control and reduce the conditions that make it conducive for fungus to grow.

If we are aware of the path towards pain and suffering, we can take a detour, and get off the path. Weeds grow in a garden because the ph levels of the soil are off. Weeds cannot grow in a properly fertilized terrain. When the soil is bereft of the proper nutrients, it is similar to the gut in an acidic state.

In this state, the bacterial and viral bugs can wage war and win. Sugar is their fuel, and when they get overpowered, they create the perfect environment for fungus. It’s like their party decoration that they start spreading throughout the body; even on the outside.

What Is The Predominant Cause Of Pain And Suffering?

Maybe you noticed while I was giving you a brief description of the 7 factors. What was the common denominator with all 7 of these factors? We started off with missed connections in the areas of beliefs and focus.

This missing connectedness causes shortages, blocked pathways, and stagnation, resulting in a lack of fluidity in many areas of life and the body. Then there is the issue of inherited curses – the DNA of psychology, physiology and familial habits.

These are embellished even more by the curse of mankind; which has resulted in a chemical onslaught from Monsanto and their affiliated manufacturers in the agricultural community. This onslaught of the curse of mankind also includes cultural icons that result in the overuse of technology.

Pathways and Patterns

Finally, there is the devastation to the body – the musculoskeletal system is affected by over-contraction in the muscular pathways and patterns, and restrictions that cause malfunctions and pain.

Furthermore, if the patterns and pathways are understood, we can find the problems that are causing inflammation and fungal overgrowth. We can stop these preset conditions that can cause cancer to overtake the body.

So what is the predominant cause of pain and suffering? It is Imbalance. In all 7 of these factors, they manifested problems in the body as a result of an imbalance in any of those areas.

So when we come to an understanding of these areas of the potential imbalance; we must also get an understanding of how to rebalance ourselves, and then, most importantly – take action consistently.

It is my hope to have the privilege of assisting you, while I walk my own journey towards realignment within the temple of the body.

There are several factors that lead to the predominant cause of pain and suffering in the body. There are 7 main factors that lead to the predominant cause of pain and suffering, and these 7 factors will be the primary topics of discussion throughout this website. You will wonder about some of these topics. You will wonder how they are related.

Connections

There is connectedness in everything. The problem is that most of the time if we are in pain and suffering; it’s because we don’t see the energetic connections. We don’t understand how everything is related.

It behooves us to be slightly aware that some of these factors are connected, or that everything as a whole is connected, but we don’t fully get it. We also don’t understand how any of these things relate to pain. Our focus is only on certain things – what we are comfortable with.

We want to take shortcuts in areas where we should really be paying more attention. Then perhaps, we can naturally address those issues, but we take those things for granted. We have no idea that those seemingly unimportant things that we don’t place high in our list of priorities; really require some dedicated focus and responsible action.

So today, I’m going to give you a bit on these factors and what leads to the predominant cause of pain and suffering in the body.

The 1st Factor

Your beliefs are the primary factor in pain and suffering because what you believe dictates your life’s path. Even if you say you don’t believe in anything or anyone, that too will direct your path. Even in nothing something can be found; something can be created.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Where Is Your Focus?

Many people focus their beliefs on what they don’t want, as opposed to what they want. For instance, many people want to maintain their health, but instead of focusing on and having gratitude for good health; they say to themselves, “I don’t want to get sick.”

The focal point of that thought is sickness, not health. The energy of the universe does not deal in negatives, nor does it do double entendres. It draws upon the focal points of your thoughts, which are the offspring of your beliefs.

Stop Operating From A Place of Fear

So if someone close to you ended up with cancer, and you develop a fear about getting cancer, and start telling yourself you don’t want it; it will come to you anyways, because those thoughts are about your fear of getting cancer. That is the focal point, so that is what you will draw from the universe into your world.

1Ch 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

The 2nd Factor

It is my belief that fluidity is another factor. Our bodies are highly fluid. Are you fluid? What do I mean?

“Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.”

Pathways

Water is crucial for the proper function of our bodies, our organs, systems, blood… If your body is blocked by excess weight, excessive and hard muscle, restricted, hard muscle, scar tissue, how can fluidity happen to keep things in homeostasis and harmony? So again, I ask the question. Are you fluid? Drinking any liquids other than water does not help to make you fluid.

But wait. What about the fluidity of your cerebral fluids? Have you considered the fluidity of your neurological system? What about the fluidity of your electrical system? Is there proper fluidity in your digestive system? What about the fluidity of airflow to your lungs, and subsequently your heart? And what about your heart? Are you overworking it because of fluidity problems?

“But if you took all the blood vessels out of an average child and laid them out in one line, the line would stretch over 60,000 miles. An adult’s would be closer to 100,000 miles long. There are three kinds of blood vessels: arteries, veins, and capillaries.”

Have you disregarded and abused any of these pathways? Are you blocked? Are you clogged? Have your dietary habits plugged up the pathways of fluidity like a damn; causing fluids to pool, and preventing them from getting through to vital areas where needed?

The 3rd Factor

There is another issue of fluidity, but this is not a sought after type of fluidity. It is the fluidity of environment, familiarity, and the genetics of our families. Pain can manifest in a path and pattern that is specific to one’s family due to inherited curses.

Now I know that the word curse is not one that people want to hear, especially with regards to sickness and diseases being genetically inherited. The thing is, it is not just an inheritance of physical DNA, but also of mental DNA.

Our physiological DNA will play a small part, but it is not the total issue that can cause one to lose their health and wellness. It is the curse of the 7 deadly sins, which is something else I will be focusing on as we move through this overall journey of discovery, to understand the Jingshen of what is really the predominant cause of pain and suffering. It is the curse of mankind; the curse of greed. And that brings me to the next factor.

The 4th Factor

In this day and age of chemtrails, a powerful few have the technological ability to manufacture storms at will, plus bacterias and diseases of all types to poison our food, and depopulate us at will through their evil creations. They attempt to manipulate us politically. They have legalized drugs that diminish mental capacity, as if people were not far enough in the vacuum of ignorance. If that is not a curse, I don’t know what is. This is the curse of Chemicals, and it is a huge contributor to the #1 cause of pain and suffering.

Hos 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

We Are Over

We are living overwhelmed, under an onslaught of chemical poisoning. There are natural alternatives being offered out there. I’m looking for them. I will be introducing the best ones that I am aware of for the sake of self-protection and preservation – to assist with natural healing; because they are trying to wipe us out, people.

I want to help you get your power back. You should not have to rely upon a system of greed to keep yourself and your family in good health; especially because it doesn’t work anyways. It’s only symptom management.. You should have knowledge and education as to the real sources of the pain you are suffering from; as well as natural means for you to manage it into extinction. I want to flip this state of being “over,” into the power to “overcome.” That is true help.

Alignment

I hope to align with the best natural solutions out there so that I can bring that information to you; but the point is that despite these innovations for our protection; our greatest enemy to our health and wellness lies within ourselves, and inside our minds. Proper alignment is a huge issue, and if you miss the boat on that one, you have truly missed your salvation from this chemical and poisonous hell on earth existence we live in, especially in America.
